per diem hours Massachusetts
I am employed full time as an exempt employee by the parent corporation. I also pick up per diem hours at one of our affiliates. I receive a W2 from the parent as well as from the affiliate.
Is it okay that I am paid the per diem rate from the affiliate even though I work more than 40 hours in a week?
I am a union employee (registered nurse) at the affiliate, if that makes any difference.

- Thanks very much! That was my thought as well, but I ran into an old boss yesterday who tried to tell me that it was illegal to work for two companies owned by the same parent corporation and it got me thinking.....
